Morocco Desert Tour Marrakech Merzouga 3 Days

Our 3 Days Marrakech Merzouga Desert tour will begin from your riad/hotel in Marrakech to Dades Gorge which take around 8 hours drving with stops and visits along the way. We’ll drive through Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) in the high Atlas Mountains where you will have opportunity to take some perfect landscape photos. We will visit Ksar Ait Ben Haddou kasbahs which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony. It is also the best place for famous cinema directors, where many interntional movies filmed such as ( Game of Throne, Gladiator…). Lunch will be surved in local resturant in the Kasbah, then we will drive to Ouarzazate with option to visit the Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. We continue towards natural landscapes the “Roses Valley”, famous for its rose water, and artisanal distillation factories.

Upon arrival at Boumalne Dades, Following Dades River on a tiny road passing by different fortified Kasbahs located on the side of the road to Dades Gorge. Overnight in an authentic hotel/riad including bed, dinner, and breakfast.

After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, our journey today will start today with a drive to the Oasis of Tinghir, where we will deviate to a minor road driving along Todra Valley till we reach Todra Gorges which are currently one of the most popular rock climbing destinations in Morocco. you may have a walk between their huge rock walls, you might even discover some rustic Berber villages where you can enjoy a cup of tea with the nomads of this region. We continue to Rissani, famous for its dates market, and being a starting point of the ancient trading caravans crossing the Sahara desert to Tombouctou. Lunch will be served here in Rissani testing the Berber Pizza cooked in the traditional oven. After, we will continue to Merzouga driving through some rocky desert landscape. Meet our camel caravan, and ride your camels through the amazing color-changing sand dunes with the sunset on the horizon as a backdrop. We reach our Sahara desert camp before darkness.

After some time to admire the sand dunes and the surrounding landscapes, get ready for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to the campfire. Late at night, local nomads hosts will be entertaining you with their drums and singing the local songs. Overnight in Berber camp including bed, dinner, and breakfast.

Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise, where the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. after having breakfast, get ready to come back either by camels or jeeps to the edge of the sand dunes where the driver is waiting you. Then we leave Sahara back to Marrakech via Draa Valley, Agdez, Ouarzazat, and Kasbahs along the way. Finally we reach Marrakech and we drop you off at your hotel/riad.
