8 days tour from Tangier to Casablanca

Today your Local Guide will come to meet you in your hotel then he will take you to Morocco’s most fascinating city and the world’s last surviving Medieval city. You will explore the medina with its “souks” (markets) stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque, and the University. You will visit the tomb of the city founder, Moulay Idris II. Lunch will be at one of the traditional restaurants in the old medina. After lunch, you will continue to explore the Najarine Fountain, the gateway of the Bab Boujloud, the old harem gardens, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Mausoleum and a famous tannery where skins are cured and dyed in enormous vats.

The departure from the Riad/Hotel shall be after breakfast. The trip from Fes to Merzouga Desert Sand Dunes will take around 8 hours in which you will see the Atlas Mountains and some villages (Timhdite, Aoufous, and Erfoud ). We will stop in some cities like Ifrane and Azrou to enjoy the view of the cedar woods and monkeys living there. Lunch will be served in Midelt. Then we will keep going through the Ziz valley which has beautiful views of the palm trees. When we get to Erg-Chebbi, you will ride camels to Berber tents where you will spend the night.

Today after enjoying the sunrise and having your breakfast, you have the option to choose either to come back by camels or by 4*4 car, then you will drive to visit the town of Rissani (the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Sultans Alaouite)with it’s fortified villages and souks, later you will continue your way to explore one of the old irrigation systems after you will have a stop for lunch in Tinjdade, then you will go to the last stop in Todra gorge where you will have a walk through the canyon and enjoying the beautiful views, overnight in your hotel in Dades.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will start the journey by driving through the 3 valleys of Dades, Rose Valley, and Skoura Valley, then reaching the Holywood of Morocco where many international movies filmed, visiting one the biggest studios in Africa, later you go to visit the Berber village Ait Ben Haddou, where you will have your lunch after you drive to Marrakech through the high Atlas mountains with stops to have pictures and rest on the way. overnight in your hotel in Marrakech.

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Bahia and Badi Palaces, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara basin, and many other hidden treasures. Lunch will be in one of the finest traditional restaurants in Marrakech.

After lunch, you will continue with the tour of the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque, the square is well worth a visit.

Today will be the last day of our 8 days tour from Tangier to Casablanca in which the driver will take you to visit one of the rarely Mosque that is open for Non- Musulman, then you will transfer you to the airport.
